Electret-Doped Polarized Nanofiber Triboelectric Nanogenerator with Enhanced Electrical Output Performance Based on a Micro-Waveform Structure Electret-Doped Polarized Nanofiber Triboelectric Nanogenerator with Enhanced Electrical Output Performance Based on a Micro-Waveform Structure AITranslate
Abstract AITranslate
Miniaturized portable triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) have emerged as an ideal power supply for wearable electronic devices because they can convert human biomechanical energy to electrical energy and can be easily integrated with wearable electronic devices. In this study, an electret-doped polarized nanofiber TENG with a micro-waveform structure (denoted as MW-EPTENG) was synthesized using electrospinning. The maximum output voltage and current generated by MW-EPTENG were 102 V and 1.02 μA, respectively, which were significantly higher than those by an electret-doped polarized nanofiber TENG with a planar structure. Moreover, MW-EPTENG maintained a stable output current and voltage after 6 h of continuous pressing. Importantly, MW-EPTENG simultaneously illuminated 21 5 mm diameter light-emitting diode bulbs, exhibiting its excellent application potential for the actual power supply and the conversion of biomechanical energy and external mechanical force to electrical energy. The excellent and enhanced electrical output performance of MW-EPTENG that contributed by micro-waveform-based structural design is conducive to the miniaturization of TENGs.
