Abstract AITranslate

Various examples of electrodeposition accompanied by current and/or potential oscillations are collected and discussed with respect to electrochemical phenomena inducing oscillations. Possibilities to use periodic changes of electrochemical responses to control and monitor the size, morphology, and composition of electrodeposition products are discussed. A brief comparison with other template-free electrodeposition techniques is also presented.
