The Nonferrous Metals Society of China is a national first-class society under the China Association for Science and Technology. It was selected as a "first-class society with Chinese characteristics" by the China Association for Science and Technology in 2021 and a 4A level society evaluated by national social organizations in 2023. The Society is an academic, popular science, and public welfare social organization voluntarily formed by scientific and technological workers in the field of non-ferrous metals and related disciplines nationwide, and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs in accordance with the law. It is an important force in the development of China's non-ferrous metal science and technology industry, as well as a bridge and link between the Party and the government and non-ferrous metal scientific and technological personnel.
The Nonferrous Metals Society of China was established on November 28, 1984. Over the past 30 years, the society has successively established 42 branches covering disciplines such as geology, mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, processing, new materials, testing, automation, etc., basically covering various professional fields in the non-ferrous metals industry. Since its establishment, the society has been focusing on the forefront of technological development, building a high-level academic exchange platform, conducting in-depth academic exchanges and seminars at home and abroad, actively promoting industry technological progress and innovation, cultivating brand conferences, creating high-quality journals, promoting advanced achievements, organizing technical training, recommending outstanding talents, actively undertaking government transfer functions, uniting and leading scientific and technological workers to contribute to the construction of a strong non-ferrous metal industry.
Learn to continuously strengthen one's own capacity building, comprehensively improve service quality and level. In recent years, it has successively won awards and honorary titles such as Excellent Unit for Financial Data Collection of National Societies in 2019, Active Contribution Unit for National Science and Technology Workers' Day in 2020, Excellent Anti epidemic Society, Excellent Organizing Unit for Collection and Release of Major Scientific and Technological Issues and Difficulties in 2018-2022, Excellent Society for Science and Technology Public Service in 2021, "Most Influential Organization" on the Science and Technology Workers' Home Platform of the China Association for Science and Technology, Excellent Science and Technology Service Team for "Science and Technology Innovation China" in 2022, and Excellent Recommended Unit for Collection and Release of Major Scientific and Technological Issues and Difficulties in 2023.
In order to fully leverage the organizational advantages of the association in connecting with a large number of scientific and technological workers, mobilize enterprises, institutions, universities, and scientific and technological workers in the industry, and jointly promote technological progress in the industry, the association further solicits unit and individual members. 1. Free subscription to the Society's "Journal" and priority access to information related to the Society's activities;
2. Free publication of group member unit and individual member introductions, patents, project achievements and other information in the Society's "Journal" and other promotional media;
3. The submission of the society's preferred plan has the right of recommendation, and priority is given to talent recommendation, publicity, and promotion;
4. Discounted or free participation in academic activities organized by the society or its affiliated branches;
5. Discounted or free participation in continuing education and training provided by the society;
6. Discounted access to technical consultation, product display, technical training, project acceptance and other services provided by the society;
7. Discounted subscription to academic journals sponsored by the society.

1. Unit members
Please fill out the attached "Application Form for Group Membership of The Nonferrous Metals Society of China" for unit membership application, stamp it, and send the electronic version to the email address: ysjsxh906@163.com .
2. Individual members
Individual members can apply for membership by logging into the membership system website and registering in the membership system. After successful registration as a personal member, the individual will learn to approve according to the regulations of the articles of association. Once approved, they can log in to the personal member page and print their electronic membership card.
