In order to promote academic exchanges among young scientific and technological personnel in the fields of metallurgy and metal materials, activate innovative thinking, share research results, and promote innovative development, the 12th China Metallurgical Society Youth Academic Annual Conference and the First "Carbon Neutrality" Metallurgical Youth Scientist Salon, sponsored by the China Metallurgical Society and the Youth Working Committee of the China Metallurgical Society, and hosted by Jiangxi University of Technology, will be held in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province from August 1 to 2, 2024 (reported on July 31).
The Youth Academic Annual Conference of the Chinese Society of Metals is held every two years, with the theme of "Gathering Young Talents and Creating the Future Together". There will be more than 20 sub venues related to the conference report, Metallurgical Youth Science and Technology Award, Metallurgy and Metal Materials, and activities such as the "Carbon Neutrality" Metallurgical Youth Scientist Salon. We cordially invite experts and young scientific and technological workers to actively participate in the conference, focusing on hot issues and emerging research directions in the fields of metallurgy and metal materials. Together, we will share and explore the latest research achievements, development trends, and future trends in the field of metal materials, and promote innovation and progress in the industry.

3、 Sub venue communication
The conference invited young scientists with high academic influence to serve as the chairman of the sub venues, and set up more than 20 specialized sub venues around themes such as metallurgy, materials, low-carbon environmental protection, and digital intelligence. Each sub venue will invite renowned experts and young scholars in their respective fields to give academic presentations, exchange academic progress in the past two years and future development directions.
