To promote the development of basic and applied research in the field of non-ferrous metals, to build a high-level academic exchange platform for outstanding young scholars at home and abroad, to guide young scientific and technological workers in the field of non-ferrous metals to carry out scientific research innovation, and to promote the scientific research work of non-ferrous metals to a new level. The China Nonferrous Metals Society plans to hold the 15th China Nonferrous Metals Society Youth Science and Technology Forum in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province in August 2024.
The Youth Science and Technology Forum of the China Nonferrous Metals Society is the most important series of conferences held every two years. The purpose of the conference is to build an exchange platform for young scientific and technological personnel engaged in research, development, and industrialization of non-ferrous metals in China, as well as relevant government departments, to explore and share the latest achievements in non-ferrous metal research, achieve mutual promotion and common improvement, and enhance the status and role of non-ferrous metals in China's national economy and social development. The expected scale is around 1500 people.
The essay covers multiple fields such as non-ferrous metal geology, mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, material preparation and processing, environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction. We hereby notify you of the following matters related to essay solicitation:

3、 Scope of solicitation
 
1. The full text or abstract of any paper that meets the theme of the forum's essay solicitation and has not been published in official domestic or foreign publications or other conferences can be submitted for submission.
2. It is advisable for each paper to be within 5000 words, including the title, author's name, author's affiliation, abstract (about 300 words), keywords, main text, references, author introduction, and mobile phone number, and to include the title, abstract, author introduction, and chart captions in both Chinese and English (see attachment for paper format);
3. Representatives attending the conference can voluntarily submit abstracts or full texts of their papers. The submission website is:

5. Excellent papers will be recommended to core journals such as the Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals (Chinese and English versions), Rare Metals (Chinese and English versions), and Rare Metal Materials and Engineering. After passing expert review, the best papers will be selected for admission.
