Abstract AITranslate

Perovskite/hole transport material (HTM) interfaces are restrained by the deep-level traps from the perovskite surface defects, which lead to the nonradiative recombination and impede the carrier transport. It is highly desired to heal these defects by HTMs with comprehensive passivation ability. Herein, we propose a thiazole-based HTM, termed as TC-36, featuring the simple structured skeleton and low-price synthetic paths. The versatile thiazole fragment combined with the typical D-π-A backbone endows the TC-36 with salient defect passivation ability, superior hole selection, and appropriate energy level alignment that can substantially manipulate the nonradiative recombination and improve the hole transport process. The perovskite solar cells (PSCs) based on TC-36 generate a champion power conversion efficiency of 22.86%, among the best list of PSCs free from the perovskite surface passivation pretreatment, and render a respectable long-term stability.
