VLC from VideoLAN is a very popular free media player for desktop. Finally android users can enjoy this great free video player on their device. VideoLAN has released their official VLC Media Player app for Android. VLC for android is in beta but it has all the awesome features that made it very popular on Desktop computers. Wait a moment before download. This app only supports devices with a CPU ARMv7 that will support NEON. Also it’s just a beta version so obiviously not stable and VideoLAN describe this release as for “power users and hackers”. So it’s better to wait for few more days to get a stable full featured VLC for your device.
VLC Beta Neon version, as stated above, is the official VLC app for Android from VLC Mobile Team. Similar to the desktop VLC it also plays most local video and audio files, as well as network streams. VLC for Android includes a media library for video and audio.
